Real answer, probably the power supply.

Mine went and when you hit the power button it did absolutely nothing. So I changed it out and it fired right up.

The second one. It was in a "repair loop" but now it won't get past the logo screen. Tried booting from a USB stick and that wouldn't work either. Can't even get into safe mode.

how old is the computer? you can probably reload the boot loader. this is for DELL, but
