PowerKing Posted June 25, 2018 Posted June 25, 2018 My hair is starting to get a little longer ,shoulder-length just about. Whenever I shampoo and conditioner I end up pulling out several strands of hair; 10, 20, 30 at a time. Is this normal? What can I do to help prevent this?
bigdick Posted June 25, 2018 Posted June 25, 2018 uh idk it's normal to shed Everyone with long hair leaves the drain covered in hair (that you should always clean before leaving !! >=(); I feel like that's what's going on with you now. Maybe when your hair was short, you didn't notice it happening but it always does. Also brush from the tips up, and maybe try to detangle your hair with the conditioner before rinsing and leaving the shower. 1
Mewn Posted June 25, 2018 Posted June 25, 2018 (edited) Perhaps you're vitamin deficient >_> Or the shampoo/conditioner you're using is crap. Edited June 25, 2018 by Mewn

It's cute when hairdressers try to attempt brushing it dry and then end up giving up and just washing my hair, haha....I'm just sitting there thinking "yeeeeep". Ugh, my hair needs to be trimmed again...and by trimmed I mean at least a half foot off tis getting annoying again.

I like having long hair so getting a trim feels a lot like going to the dentist :'( damn rat tails though ;.; I started rubbing coconut oil on the ends when I have to have it in a neat bun anyway, but it doesnt do anything but make it feel softer >.< split ends are such a problem for me though you should let it hanggggggggggg

NaBarney Posted June 25, 2018 Posted June 25, 2018 That sounds freakish, how often are you shampooing and conditioning? More than once a week is too much and fucks with your hair.

Also it sounds like you aren't lathering at all.

Once a week, and tbh I try to do it when I ain't gonna be anywhere for a couple days bc it always looks and acts like absolute shit after shampooing. Just blast it with hot water and wring it out, most showers. That's all it needs

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say they probably wash their hair more than once a week too.
