On-call is pretty common in this field for director positions (which this was) but most places have a rotation or something. Had to politely nope out of that one. By which I mean I just said "OK" when they said that, finished the interview, and will turn them down if they happen to call me with an offer. Also had a phone interview trying to set up a face to face interview from that. One more interview tomorrow, then two next week and trying to set up a third.

One more interview tomorrow, then two next week and trying to set up a third. the job they're offering seems more on an opposite side of the house from where i usually work. it's not a big deal but they'd have to realize that i'd be learning that piece. they're also going to have to give me a decent pay bump to give myself a hellish commute

In our system once you request a day it comes off your total, so you just keep some days scheduled and just cancel them and move them to a later date and so on >_>
