Naraku4656
well i say friend but i've only really seen her a handful of times and was never that close. ANYWAY. she messages me on facebook about a "business opportunity" and how i can make more money. now i'm a stupid guy, but i'm not an idiot. so i checked her facebook and saw one recent amway post and replied thanks but no thanks. now she's asking friends if they ever feel "drowsy" and then she's posts a picture of the back of a protein bar saying I'LL BRING ONE OF THESE FOR YOU TO TRY IT HAS PROTEIN AND VITAMINS. at the bottom of it, it says "distributed by amway corp" i understand how people fall for this crap but i guess it's sad to see someone i kinda sorta knew get sucked into it. NaBarney
I hate the relentless makeup saleswomen. Once I start seeing those Facebook posts about what a great deal it is to spend $80 on three tubes of shit PLUS A FREE MAKE UP BAG I unfriend them

Naraku4656
when i was first starting out, and i didn't know better. i went to one interview of what turned out to be a multi level marketing thing. i didn't realize until the second interview when they wanted to do a group interview that started over an hour after they said it would. they wanted us to shadow a guy for 8 hours and not get paid for it. i said "lol no" and walked out. i checked on their company a few years back and saw they went out of business. Ginguy
Amway is't bad if you work it right. Chumps go out and try to sell make up and energy bars. The real money is in signing up people for credit cards and getting them to shop online through your site at Macy's, Men's Wearhouse Best Buy etc.. nameraka
i tried sales once. i was bad at it. like really bad at it. probably doesn't help that i have a deeply entrenched distrust of people. the upside to that, though, is that i can't say anyone has ever sold me anything i didn't want. Naraku4656
i did sales back in my retail days. well sales being i was a cashier and tried to get people to sign up for the crappy credit cards they made us sign people up for. i hated doing that but the grand prize was $50, which at the time was a lot of money for me
