death_by_motorboat Posted September 28, 2017 Posted September 28, 2017 It's awkward when you're a fan of a comic or a series that has been replicated in a movie or in public eye for various reasons ,,,,, Because when someone knows you're a fan of a series or comic and the repeated use of trendy movie or series plot had nothing to do with the REAL fandom. example. I have a Walking Dead t-shirt and everybody wants to know if I like the series but the truth is I like the comics. They're very expensive, and I'm a collector. Not not one true comic fan would have missed the awesomeness that is The Walking Dead and I'm sorry that TV has replications. so when they asked me if I'm a fan of The Walking Dead I have no idea how to answer. I just usually not and I agree with the conversation at hand but it has nothing to do with the comics and people don't understand. I guess I'm not used to being socially accepted. owo
