It's awkward when you're a fan of a comic or a series that has been replicated in a movie or in public eye for various reasons ,,,,,

 

 

Because when someone knows you're a fan of a series or comic and the repeated use of trendy movie or series plot had nothing to do with the REAL fandom. 

 

example. I have a Walking Dead t-shirt and everybody wants to know if I like the series but the truth is I like the comics. They're very expensive, and I'm a collector.  Not not one true comic fan would have missed the awesomeness that is The Walking Dead and I'm sorry that TV has replications.

 

 

so when they asked me if I'm a fan of The Walking Dead I have no idea how to answer.  I just usually not and I agree with the conversation at hand but it has nothing to do with the comics and people don't understand.  I guess I'm not used to being socially accepted. owo

But intellectually I can't see how I'm at fault when

someone has very narrow insight about the hollow void that produces a hooked fan
