But why just watch. Why not buy some games and play them firsthand. I will never understand the "vicarious satisfaction thing" I get bored to death by Let's Plays.

I quit playing consoles when the Nintendo 64 came out.  Its controls were too hard for me when I tried to play Mario 64 at Target

so I quit playing consoles forever.  I only play handheld games so it's nice to see the games being played.  I'd never play them.

Plus since I was a kid, I've enjoyed watching my friends play more than actually playing myself.

I've enjoyed watching Nintendo 3DS game playthroughs and even bought a couple of games after watching said playthroughs like Animal Crossing New Leaf and Miitopia.

Oh man. I'm preparing to return to playing video games this month. I will be delving into Ghost in the Shell first strike, for starters. The last  game I really played was Half-Life 2. Well, that, and some SNES ROM EMulators or whatever the fuck you call it on my laptop. Mostly earthbound for memories sake. God I Iove earthbound. I'm a huge Earthbound nerd.

No thanks.  I don't like how the videos take up so much of the screen plus I love using colored font.

Spindack I told you I wasn't interested.  I tried to learn it before a couple years ago and couldn't.
