mochi Posted September 6, 2017 Share Posted September 6, 2017 Lost Universe was an anime series that was meant as a sister series to the "Slayers" franchise, namely, it was meant to be set in another dimension parallel to the one Slayers took place in however months before the eps were set to air all the footage for the first 5 episodes was Destroyed when a Fire destroyed the master tapes, so the animation studio went into Panic mode, they had to rebuild as much of the episodes as they possibly could in only a month, and that's just what they did....but as you'd expect, the rushed repair Job was not....that good even the opening scene was partially destroyed, leaving them no choice but to replace the missing scenes with "apology images" showing the characters holding "Scene missing" and "Under construction" signs Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
