The GM has locked up a ton of money on players that are declining. They have a great youth movement on teh way, but they also are spending way to much on aging stars that just dont produce like they used to.

Hawks had no answer when their puck carrier was challenged, they either panicked or tried to force a pass. Couple that with bad special teams & it was amazing they took the Conference, if it wasn't for the Minn collapse, they wouldn't have come close to taking the Division. I haven't heard anything yet about guys playing injured. The "D" looked old & slow, Toews lost a step (he was coming off an injury, ankle or something). Seemed like everyone else, other than Kane, was non-existent. Shut down Kane, shut down the Hawks. Time for Bowman to work some magic - he was royally po'd at the presser.
