1938 Packard
"Sign up here for your FREE chance to win this new car!", yells the barker. Now, read the fine print. The offer is void to residents of 47 states and all non U.S. residents. Your signature authorizes the sponsor and all of its affiliates to harass you at all ridiculous hours of day or night with sales calls, even if you're on a "do not call" registry. So, it's just a scam. Yet, I can stand there for an hour and lose count of how many people fall for it.

1938 Packard
just figured that out now didja? They only started doing this about five years ago. I read the entry slip practically the same day they started. I figured it was a similar scam that was busted by the bunko squad nine years ago. That one would switch your phone company to some hokey pokey outfit that charged almost three dollars a minute for each call.
