NaBarney
Is anyone else fuckin pumped for this crazy piece of shit? Absolutely irrationally loving this rebooted franchise. https://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/war_for_the_planet_of_the_apes/
MasqueradeOverture
This trilogy shouldn't have worked (let alone existed), but it has been surprisingly great so far. I hope the same for this.

Meilag32
I disagree with most of the posts. The premise for this new series should have always worked. It's basically a remake of Conquest for the Planet of the Apes (1972) and Battle for the Planet of the Apes (1973). The real surprise was that 20th Century Fox, a studio renowned for releasing utter crap, actually had a trio of diamonds among the pile of coal they normally peddle. I went and saw the movie today. It was good. A fitting end to the trilogy (though there is a rumored fourth film since the series does make money) and has plenty of references to the first two films of the original series. Not really spoilers but... The end of the film sets up the premise that the Apes set up the society that you see in the original film, down to the environmental setting. Why are you arguing this? I agree that it's a great movie and an excellent series overall. You're just looking to start a fight.
