NaBarney Posted June 12, 2017 Posted June 12, 2017 BRING IT OOOONNNN I hate when I see all y'all running out of water because it reminds me that it's only a few years before where I live is overrun with climate refugees from out west.
Codename: Jackass Posted June 12, 2017 Author Posted June 12, 2017 I live in Texas. Actually not that far from you, if you're in Tennessee like I think you are. Just got Arkansas in between, but fuck Arkansas. Desertification will continue, though. West Texas will overake Central, and then East as well, because politicians are more worried about being re-elected than doing the right thing. But this isn't a politics thread, this is a my lawn is going to die and I can't stop it thread.
Codename: Jackass Posted June 12, 2017 Author Posted June 12, 2017 Really, the only good thing about where I live is that the casino and cheap tobacco are only a short car ride away.
Codename: Jackass Posted June 12, 2017 Author Posted June 12, 2017 I guess I've also got some prime beachfront property once the ice caps finish melting. so there's that. I'll sell you a plot of land in forty years if we're still around.
NaBarney Posted June 12, 2017 Posted June 12, 2017 Yeah Tennessee but I'm as close to the Atlantic ocean as I am to Memphis. I could water a small garden just with what I dump out of my dehumidifier every day.
Codename: Jackass Posted June 12, 2017 Author Posted June 12, 2017 It's a weird kind of drought. It's humid as fuck during spring from all the gulf coast moisture, but once the high pressure cap sets up, it's bone dry until October.
Codename: Jackass Posted June 12, 2017 Author Posted June 12, 2017 Sell your dehumidifier water to the city of Dallas. They'll take what they can get. Probably for a few cents a gallon, too.

Nobody is going to Tenessee of all places to escape a drought. Also, it snowed 10" in the Sierras yesterday.
