Dragonball Gaiden: case of being reborn as Yamcha

apperently it's a rewrite of Dragonball where Yamcha switches bodies with a real-world fan of Dragonball and said real world fan takes it upon himself to make Yamcha into the series Protagonist

 

so it's an actual fix-fic genre fanfic but in officially licensed comic form

My first thought if I woke up as Yamcha would be "Oh my God, I'm going to die!!!!"

 

Which, apparently, is what that guy thought as he changed the series by training his ass off, knowing the Saiyans would come.

but considering when you die in dragonball you can get wished back at any time you want if someone just goes to namek and asks Porunga to do it....so what?, death is kinda Cheap in that universe
