Rogue_Alphonse
Yes, this is a car thread. If MOST of car interiors were plastic, why were the more luxurious vehicles i. e. my Mustang equipped with pleather wrapped cardboard? Why not just use pleather wrapped plastic instead? Staples can go through plastic, its a proven fact. And guess what? It can't get warped from moisture! A GREAT thing for convertibles! Whatever, I sealed my speaker grilles back on with HUGE washers on the backing screws and black roofing silicone. From the outside, they'll never know... Chapinator_X
I find it interesting how cars from the 80's and 90's don't seem like they're as highly sought out for. The most recent that people get with desired classics are cars from the 70's.

The 80's are coming back... one of the better examples is the 79-93 mustang... 7 years ago i bought my car for $1700 with a smashed door and a cracked windshield but it ran and drove and was in awesome shape... now something similar but in worse shape averages $4500 or more...
