    In other shows a bigger deal would have been made have reforging or replacing the hero's sword. Here it is just done off-screen like it's a minor inconvenience and Tanjuro gets scolded by the sword maker. Also I think you would have to just make a new sword and couldn't just reforge it like that. Inosuke what did you do to that sword?!
