Actually, gold is something that proves that time is merely a mental construct. We measure "time" by our planet rotating and orbiting the Sun, and the moon orbiting the Earth. But that's just objects moving in space. We also like to say, things "age" over time. But gold doesn't. It never tarnishes or corrodes. Just more proof time doesn't exist!

The premiere SAO episode tonight was godly. It was so fucking good. The art and animation was quite possibly the best I've ever seen from SAO. Well paced too. Plenty of kickassery... and well-paced too.

A least something good came out of this show. We finally got some female Super Saiyans, and they kick ass!

Goku = immune to energy beam that causes more damage the more evil the person is, because he has a pure heart (also this character could have beaten literally every villain in the series with this power.) Also, Goku from Super, quasi-sociopathic.

@mochi Managed to stumble into this today. Been very sick and trying to get more sleep, to no avail. Trying to do things I thought would make me fall asleep, but nothing is working. Here is that situation concerning one of the characters I mentioned being a transphobic piece of shit. It's ok, because the character has consistently been a piece of shit the whole series, and the character is portrayed as being in the wrong. Me and DangerMouse had an extended conversation about what shows might come up on Toonami in another thread, and I actually went to the trouble to look up everything I could on them, and found that Aniplex said a lot of work was being done on SAO from home. I dont think any other studio outright announced that, but it can be surmised that if Aniplex is doing it, and if production is resuming or been going on with other shows for a while, they are probably doing the same thing as Aniplex. Which would be common sense. But I guess you conveniently ignored that post.

Joke post of course, but I didn't think Officer Black and Killah were drawn bad. And lest you forget, Commander Red was a selfish narcissistic incompetent idiot. Black was the actually competent and killed Red when he found out he really wanted to use the Dragon Balls to make himself taller. Popo isn't even supposed to be black... or even human. Barely any of the Toonami shows are actual fan service shows, except Kill la Kill, as mentioned. The shows they've had are hardly just fan service of girls, either. I can actually barely think of any anime that don't have fan service. Moribito is one. There are some other ones that come to mind, but not at the moment, of course, though I have been up for a while as I'm writing this. Maybe I will come up with more after I've gotten some sleep. Funny enough, Alicization and War of Underworld have been very light on fan service. Maybe THAT is a difference of the new director for those seasons that I couldn't think of in the other thread! Alice has barely been out of her knight armor and Sheyta's clothes were tastefully removed in that fight! I don't think Demarco selects shows specifically for having distasteful representations of LGBTQ people. But it's something you are going to run into when acquiring content of Japanese origin. If it's not something the show is centered on and the show is otherwise good, I can see why Demarco would still want to license such shows. For his part, Demarco did say he tried to get Yuri on Ice as one of their NON-ACTION shows, but was unable. As discussed before, he couldn't get Sailor Moon Crystal due to the Hulu deal. Regardless, I agree with you that Demarco is a fake-woke fuck. The guy rants about conglomerates and corporations but is constantly bullshitting and shilling for the one he works for.
