So, I have finally sat down to watch Ranma, and I came across an episode that felt a lot like a Food Wars episode. And it's a filler episode, mind you! There is a battle between Ukyo and her Okonomiyaki shop and this new guy who shows up with a food truck selling crepes. There's even a foodgasm scene! https://ranma.fandom.com/wiki/Revenge!_Raging_Okonomiyaki...! So not only is this show vapid, mediocre, and overrated, its gimmick isn't even original! Hell, I am sure there are other shows that had similar cooking episodes, or cooking centric shows, that aren't as extreme. Food Wars is NOTHING special.
