Tsuredure Children 9 Meh episode except maybe the blue haired girl's segment. The first 2 couples aren't as far along as most couples and thus kinda boring and the red-haired girl in the final couple genuinely annoys me as much as she charms me, possible moreso even, like a 60/40 ratio.

Goku killed plenty in Dragon Ball. It's Z where that becomes a rarity until the Buu arc. I've always felt the Buu arc in general was tonally closer to Dragon Ball than Z. Certainly closer to Dragon Ball than the rest of Z is anyway. Toriyama going back to his roots so to speak. I decide what's a spoiler. Also a slight correction as pointed out to me on MAL. That Midnight/Mt. Lady scene was from an extra omake in volume 3 I had forgotten about.

We're back from a break with episode 34 this week, "Gear up for Final Exams," adapting chapters 60 and parts of 61 from volume 7 of the original source manga. Kinda odd to get some Midnight and Mt. Lady anime-original padding, but it was humorous and made sense in context so...why not? Anyway...before the students of 1-A can enjoy their summer camp they've still got finals! Written and Practical! It was pretty cute to see how each student ranked. Gotta love unreasonably cocky #9 ranked Mineta. Nice to see everyone so heavily relying on #1 ranked Momo and her genius intellect as well. While the written test is self-explanatory the practical remains something of a mystery. Will it be a battle against giant robots as 1-B suggests? No! It's actually a struggle against the teachers! As it turns out the students of 1-A need this special training, and they'll be paired up against a teacher 2 on 1. We've definitely got some interesting matchups, such as Todoroki and Momo vs. Aizawa. And the good news for Deku? He's facing All Might! That's not really good news you say? Well it's better than saying who his partner is! That's right, the obnoxious brat who hates his guts it's Bakugo! Good luck Young Midoriya, you're gonna need it! Also, interesting how they're handling these matches individually as opposed to simultaneously as in the manga...might help pad out the rest of the season better. Time to see how well Tokoyami and Tsuyu work together!

Happy September all! Well we're 3 weeks out from what is imo the best part of the year, Fall! Longer nights, cooler temperatures, beautiful foliage, and of course the best month of the year: October! Halloween Horror Goodness! And with Fall this year comes a particularly packed and/or stacked lineup of new and returning anime series. Check it out: MAL AniChart LiveChart Now due to some shall we say extenuating circumstances I'm very far behind regarding my anime watching. Suffice to say Summer 2017 was easily one of the worst in my life, to the point where I seriously considered abandoning even weekly My Hero Academia posts and making this thread or staying on this board. But I digress. Because I am still so far behind and because things ain't gonna get much better for me anytime soon I intend to seriously limit what I try to keep up with weekly next season too. At this point I will still try to watch those Ancient Magus' Bride OVAs late this month and keep up with the series proper as it airs. Ditto 3-gatsu no Lion Season 2...and that's probably gonna be it outside Super and the Toonami stuff honestly, and even that might not happen. Other stuff I had been eagerly awaiting like Umaru 2, Black Clover, Yuuki Yuuna 2, etc... will hafta be whenever I can if ever shows. Ditto Soma 3 but considering we're entering the garbage-level Azami arc for that series no loss there really. Anyway enough of my bitching, so what looks good all? What are you guys gonna watch?
