I remember both of those! Claymore manga was pretty good...I remember being disappointed by the ending but its been years so who knows. I didn't have Sci-Fi channel at the time (university dorm cable didn't have it) but there was some program I can't remember that basically streamed live cable TV at fairly crappy resolution and I was able to watch it that way. Good times...

I'm pretty stoked for Monster....I miiiiight be able to get my wife to watch that with me. I remember buying the first box set of Viz DVDs from Best Buy like 12 year ago and then... I ended up burning my own DVDs for the rest of the show but don't remember if I got dub or sub files.

Finished since my last post: Rewatch of Last Exile - still awesome Rewatch of Last Exile: Fam the Silver Wing - It started off as bad as I remember it, but got better than I remember it being. It's funny how the first series hits a ton of mid 2000's tropes ("I have to protect ____") and Fam the Silver Wing hits a lot of early 2010's tropes with the first-scene gratuitous garter belt fan service and other stuff later on. Rewatch of Lupin The III The Castle of Cagliostro - I might try to get my wife to watch this one some time; she might actually like it. Patlabor OVAs 5-8

Just finished Attack on Titan Lost Girls OVAs. I definitely liked Detective Annie more than Mindf*ck Mikasa, but whatever... 7/10

The sad part is they will probably publish more in the first year once they get going than he did in the last 5....I'm curious to see where it goes. Hopefully they can keep up the storytelling and art.

Just finished the last episode of the first set (1-3 on Crunchyroll) of Attack on Titan OVAs...I apparently watched the first couple when they first came out. It's nice to see some old friends again.

Just finished: Attack on Titan Season 4 Part 2343 last 3 episodes. I'm both ready for this to be done and thankful that Crunchyroll has a bunch of the OVAs set up for me to watch.

Rewatched Hellsing Ultimate 1-4 I forgot how ridiculous this show is. Watching the interviews and the convention panel extras has been fun; I've never been to a Con before and probably will never go, seeing girls offer themselves to Crispin Freeman in front of an entire audience was somehow not as surprising as it should have been...

Just finished Colorful (movie, not the raunchy show I apparently watched in 2013 according to MAL and don't remember). 8/10 It's really sad, I have a student who basically lived this movie (thankfully they are still alive)...what the movie doesn't show is how much trauma and continuing mental health issues this kid really should have....but I guess it's just an anime, so I can't expect too much.

Oh man, I loved this show back in the day and blogged the first two (or three?) seasons as they came out for CSW, if you guys remember Jubbz's blog. I had the commercial break eyecatches as my desktop on a random rotation. I had a hard time trying to determine if Rias or Akeno was best girl. I loved them both. ...Then I became a high school teacher and figured I shouldn't be watching shows like this...

Great band. I have the original Bastard! soundtrack that I picked up for like $1 from Right Stuf's bargain bin, but have never seen the actual show.

But MAL doesn't do it that way. <_<

Attack on Titan S4 E15? 16? The season and episode numbering is so convoluted.

Over the weekend the wife was out of town so I had a chance to watch K-On! The Movie and the Time of Eve movie. I'll give K-On! a 7/10. I liked the show and the movie hit a lot of feels for me. Seeing the girls go to London for a 5 day trip was pretty lol-worthy...there is SO MUCH to do there. I went a few years back and felt bad about only being there for a week including 8+ hour flights. I imagine the flight from Japan must be like 20 hours unless they can shortcut over the arctic circle or something. Time of Eve I would give a 9/10. I loved the show, I love Asimov, and I thought there was a lot of good sci-fi here. I'm glad I finally got around to watching this after backing the kickstarter.

I'm an idiot and can't tell characters apart. This is what I get for listening to it while doing other stuff instead of watching it. Finished the second season which I liked a lot better. I'd give the whole thing a solid 7/10.

Ef - Tale of Memories 1-10. I feel like this moebag protag is the biggest man-whore I've seen in anime...at least finish one girl's route before starting another. Dude confessed his love to two chicks in the same episode...At this point I'm hoping for a Nice Boat ending.

Just finished Gunslinger Girl Il Teatreno + OVAs. Good stuff. Thankfully my wife never walked in on any parts that were too weird...

I have Netflix so I won't have to sail the seas, but I'm not a fan of exclusivity in general. Definitely hoping to watch this; I loved the original. I hope Pepsi girl is back...

Just finished a couple days ago: 12 Kingdoms. 7/10. I really liked the story, would have loved more. The world building was either amazing or vocab vomiting all over the place depending on the episode. Just finished a few minutes ago: Gunslinger Girl 7/10. Looking forward to the sequel/OVA.

Is this the Macross that was a 4 episode OVA that aired on the Sci-Fi channel? I liked that one...

Finished since last update: 12 Kingdoms 1 - 33 or something like that. Show is pretty cool so far, lots of world building. So much vocabulary....
