Oh, several things. TV-MA stuff is usually gorier, more profane, more explicit in its dialogue and sexual content, and in The Boondocks' case, daring enough to drop the N-word sans censor bleeps. I could go on, but I know when and when not to gush about my hyperfixation so shamelessly, so I won't.

Of the four anime-original series I watched last year from last year, Kamui was easily the weakest of the bunch. Jellyfish Can't Swim in the Night, Mayonaka Punch, even frickin' Astro Note were better. But hey, at least we got a new key visual out of it.
