i just love this. neil degrasse tyson is so cool. and so many interesting facts. and all this knowledge. if i were a science teacher ...i would absolutely incorporate this series into the curriculum.

UGH. so..she's NOT 8cm...they upped the dosage fro 2mm to 8mm. my daughter still at around 2. jebus...the longest labor i was in was her and that was 10 hours. shortest was 6. ok...let me get this right. she went in at 2100 to be induced. but she had to have 4 hours of antibiotics then they gave her the pitocin at the 5th hour. that put her at 0300. and she's only at 2 which means..she has many more hours to go. poor girl.

oh i am so sorry. i lost my mom to lung cancer that went to small c and went to the brain. i don't pray. but good vibes to you.

daughter has been in labor for 16 hours now. dr. thought maybe they'd have to do a c~section. baby's heart rate dropped with every contraction. (just like she did when i was in labor with her) but, they gave meds to help the cervix. she went from 2mm to 8mm just a matter of time. i wish i could be there. i went up last week, and week and half early. she was due on 10/31.

i actually was. my daughter was to deliver 10/31 but of course baby doesn't want to come until next week so, i'll be heading home tomorrow. i'll come back up after the new year.
