people are lonely it's sad, but true. but it is VERY annoying when you can't get off the phone with people... especially when it's your mother. it's not like you want to hurt her feelings, but it's like.... okay.. yup mhmm.... you begin to wonder, "are they talking TO me? or AT me?" and sadly, it's usually the latter you should try hanging up once or twice, see if they notice!

the reason he made you feel stupid is because you made HIM feel stupid! you are obviously better at his job than he is, I say take it as a compliment! it doesn't make it any less sucky but it will be alright!

lmfao no, although I have done that a couple times, but it was usually me saying "one more for the road?" to kind of soften the blow. I never realize how bad that sounds until it came out good thing I haven't done that in a solid 5 years I guess I have grown up a little hahaha
