The 80's were great. I don't remember much before 1985 though but the late 80's were definitely fun. Tv was actually worth watching, animation was great since 3D wasn't around yet, movies were still original like Ghostbusters and Back to the Future, etc. It was nice coming home from school and watching The Real Ghostbusters and Disney Afternoon cartoons.

My favorites foods there are gone. I miss the gorditas and the thing that was kind of like a quesadilla that came with salsa. I don't remember what it was called but it was very good. 7-layer burrito, soft supreme taco, and supreme chalupas are good but not my favorite.

That's too bad. She wasn't that old either just a year older than my dad. Now I kinda want to rewatch Superman. I'll probably do that in a week or two.

Just realized I forgot to mention that I watched the Timeless season finale last night.

Yeah but I mostly meant Mario 3D games. I don't like 3D versions of anything I grew up with and Mario Bros. was my favorite when I was a kid. I stopped playing new video games in 1996 when I was a teenager and Pokemon came out during the time I stopped gaming after 1996. I'm okay with 3D pokemon because that's pretty much all I've played. Didn't start playing pokemon until a couple months before Pokemon X and Y came out so I didn't have much to compare it to. Only Pokemon Pearl which I hated and Pokemon Black Version 2 which I liked. I never liked Kirby Dreamland very much when I was in middle school so the new 3D versions don't bother me. Plus I don't use the 3D function on my 3DS. I'm okay with the 3D version of Mario Kart but I don't think it looks as good as Mario Kart DS. Mario Kart 7 and 8 are both great games.

A lot of the older characters died too though. Yeah Peter Parker and Groot are young but the others aren't. Peter Quill is just a little younger than me and he died. It doesn't really matter anyway. They'll find a way to bring them all back soon enough.
