mods are allowed to post stuff on the board. I don't think there's anything wrong with a mod pointing out that something might be getting out of hand before it gets there. or after it gets there. the specific problems I was observing had to do with just - too many random posts showing up off board that weren't particularly against the rules and I wasn't quite sure how they got there, and also seeing mod edit tags that weren't anything at all like we discussed (which is to simply spoiler tag with a content warning). to my knowledge they aren't doing any of that any more. but yes. if it's necessary for me to actually state this then here's that: Mods are allowed to post stuff on the board.

there is a block user function on this board for those that can't abide a particular member. profile>modify profile>buddies/ignore list>edit ignore list>add member's name to your ignore list.

no actual members have been banned to my knowledge. BUT we do end up banning a lot of bot accounts. Usually before they post. I don't know how many have been wracked up, but it's got to be kind of a lot by now.

yeah especially given that the alternatives for who they could have trotted out at #30, them going w/Reigns just shows how utterly out of touch their writers are. What's worse: Reigns had a really really good match with Owens. A really really good match. if WWE had just let it rest there, I would be kinda like "well you know, that Roman Reigns isn't so bad, maybe I should give him another chance" But no - they drag him out to the Rumble at #30, have him look like he's going to win it - and then toss the thing to Orton. Royal Rumble was actually pretty awesome this year. What sucks is how the writing staff can utterly destroy the entire mood of a pretty awesome ppv event with one super super stupid ending. Orton had some very nice spots in the RR match, don't get me wrong. I just think it's dumb as hell how glacially slow they are to change, especially when surrounded by crazy amounts of talent. The roster is an embarrassment of riches and they keep going to the same wells over and over and over again. I'm hearing Joe is going to get a monster push soon. WWE really needs that right now. AJ Styles was very well handled once they figured out what to do with him. I think Joe, with his NXT storylines under his belt, has even more for creative to draw from. Basically that's Wrestlemania for me right now. Hoping that Samoa Joe ends up crashing the roster soon enough to actually make it interesting.

it's been a very very mild winter here. we had a couple snows in December. but we also had a couple weeks in Jan that were pretty consistently in the 40s. and beyond that it's just been 30s. Not warm, but warm for winter. And not a ton of snow. It feels like we're on track to beat the "warmest year" record again this year.
