see that's why we need Green Ghosts. I literally spent all afternoon trying to get a handle on how to fix the profile stars, buttons on the main nav panel, and make the link color blue. and in like was it a minute? two minutes? you basically did one of those things just like that.

aside from the mod you found, I uploaded another one actually that reads as corrupt so it's probably a no-go. but we'll figure it out. it's definitely something I want. I would go so far as to say it's a priority even.

I agree with that. If we can find a way to change it I will. for now though it'll probably stay that way for a bit. unless we stumble on something. there's a list of aesthetic changes (rank stars, the nav buttons for the mods/plugins) and that should be added to that list because it should indeed look a little clearer than it does.

can you guys see the planning board still? I need to close that before the board opens. I think I just did. but - "simple machines" isn't always simple, and different permissions are in bizarre places, and sometimes you have to go to three or four different places to plug a hole.

yeah that was happening to me a lot when I first made my SN (even as an admin) but yeah, I figured out that I have to set it when I log in. Or relog in as the case may be. Now I just automatically set it not to log me out.

and actually I think there's an option in profiles to add a link to your page or site down there as well.

there should be a profile link and a PM link.

can you guys see the Planning Board up top and "the Hole" board at the bottom right now? also do you see "email" links under SNs and what happens when you try to use those? do the email addresses pop up? I'm trying to ditch that but - like I've checked every single "disable email" box I can find in the admin and they still seem to show up.
