I added the FanFic thing becuzza Sponges. But I haven't had time to check it out. the buttons are hit and miss based on if they're mods or not. The mods didn't quite materialize fully in the theme. They still all work, but just the buttons look screwy (the ones you mentioned, also the Spoiler and Dice Roll buttons in the post composer). Not sure why, but if you click "next/Previous" it takes you to the bottom of the page, but if you click the page number links on the other side it takes you to the top. so I would say try - instead of clicking "next" instead look over to the lower left and click the page number instead and I think it'll start you at the top of the page instead of at the bottom. We've had requests for a colorwheel in the post composer (something to let people customize font color) there may be a mod for that we can hook up. Worst case scenario we may be able to enable limited HTML in posts, which I think would allow them to mess with their text color. so we got a couple possible solutions to that possibly.

FB is a different kind of site though with a different structure than message boards.

not sure, you'd have to try it. From what I understand it blocks the user from sending PMs to you and also blocks you from seeing their posts. I honestly don't think there's a particularly adequate ignore feature anywhere on the web. But most of them seem at the very least to be functional on their most basic level. I suspect the ignore function for SMF is no different. Also I accidentally hit "modify" instead of "quote" so I thought I was quoting and answering your post and I was actually editing my reply into your post. so had to undo all that, which is why there's an edit tag in your post now.

K when I added mine to Horror, it stuck it in with General for some reason. I had to "edit" and use the pulldown right under the title field to select "Horror" category. Also it took like forever to upload. It was grinding away for - hm - well maybe not a minute, but at least 20 seconds or so. but basically yeah, don't see your pic anywhere, I would try it again, make sure you select "horror" if there's a pulldown there for that, and let it load fully if it's being stupid and grinding.

so I added a category for each board folder/media subject. And then made another "General/Unevenedge" one. so try it now.

I never added any categories so gonna go do that and see if that's what it's deal is.

yeah. I like the way the Halloween ranks shook out. but also - there are several of you that are chewing your way through even the "500, 1000" etc rank gaps pretty quickly.

we can add lots. I will probably revive the Halloween ranks next year. I will probably do XMas ranks and other seasonaly ranks. I will probably do special ranks. We will have more diverse and specialized Volunteer ranks. I will be adding ranks as people reach the upper limits of what I call the "green band ranks" so yes. there will be much ranking.
