Puff Daddy targeted by Homeland Security in sex trafficking investigation
Sodakandy replied to Jman's topic in Current Events
My jaw dropped when I saw this earlier this year. I can't help but want to see what happens next. Diddy and the other artists mentioned are my generation and honestly I can't believe this is happening. -

I think I'm on Beyonce's side for the most part with the Peirs Morgan thing, but I do think it's interesting that their attorney demanded an apology from Piers, but not from Jaguar? I get that people think she has no money, but I still find that strange since she's a huge source of their conspiracies, so why can't they at least send a cease and desist to her? Tbh I don't know how I feel about all of this now. It's getting very strange. -

I wasn't aware of that specific detail being out until the NY post posted it, sorry. -

I'm not sure about the estranged DC members being blackballed or not, but Letoya Luckett had a single in the mid 00's that I do remember and it charted on the billboard and played on radio stations. I'm not sure about your take on Kelly Rowland either, however as someone who grew up in the south where colorism and prejudices are intensified, I think I see where you're going with this. Because of my personal southern experience, I always thought that Beyonce's parents fed into the colorist dynamic to prop their daughter up and I do think they deserved criticism for that. They knew exactly what they were doing. -

Wait, you're confusing me now... Didn't you just criticize me because you thought that I was accusing Jay-Z of being guilty along with Diddy's crimes without proof? Now you're saying eff Jay-Z, Beyonce, and their fandoms? -

Yeah, I do find that really sad that people are quick to write Jaguar off. I'm not sure how credible she is, but I would honestly rather hear what she has to say than hearing what fans of these celebrities have to say on social media, because after all, she actually worked in the industry for a little bit back in the day, so I would say it's very possible that what she's saying has at least some truth in it if not more. They call her "crazy" or what have you, but considering the trauma she's expressed through interviews, I'm not sure how people would expect someone like her who has been through so much to act, and I think her naysayers are overlooking that point. If I was traumatized like that then I would probably be messed up and a bit cooky too, more than I am now I must admit lol. -

I made this thread before the NY post article releasing more info on this high profile celebrities that said that he was younger. You're right, this suspected celeb doesn't look to be Jay-Z. I honestly think you read my stance in the OP wrong. I'm not sure if Jay-Z is involved with Diddy crimes or not, and I said that clearly in the OP. Jay-Z has not been implicated in anyway, you are right about that and I don't think I ever said that he was. I only said that he was suspected by social media and Jaguar Wright. I thought I made that clear, but sorry if you interrupted that way, so next time I'll try to be more clear about what I'm saying. I'm saying a lot of things, but mainly I'm expressing my fears for Beyonce's career since people are trying to string her and her husband into Diddy's mess. Jay-Z has also been getting a string of bad press lately with Nicki leaving cryptic messages on Twitter about him, famous people defending Wayne's Superbowl "snub," rappers and rapper adjacents going on nameless youtube interviews expressing their dislike for him, Jaguar Wright who's now slowly making it to mainstream, and conspiracies theorist who are trying to tie him and his wife to Diddy's stuff. Again, I'm not sure what Jay-Z has going on, and I can't say he's guilty of being involved with Diddy's crimes, but Jay-Z aside, I'm definitely on Beyonce's side here, and I thought I made that clear in the OP too. I think it's unfair to her that social media is running wild with conspiracies formed against her, when for all we know, she's likely innocent in all of this. Have you seen Beyonce's social media lately? I'm sure Bey has never cared about social media too much since it's clearly being ran by her publicists, but the comments for the past week have been crazy and excessive. They're accusing her of k!ll!ng other celebrities, and being a part of Diddy's crimes without proof. It's insane, and surprisingly it's progressively getting worse each day. Even on Levi's IG account, the comments are criticizing them for chosing her to collab with and my fear is that Levi's will part ways with her if this social media conspiracies and comments against her get worse. It may become a bigger thing where it may get out of control to the point where more companies aren't going to collab with her just based on the comments against her on the company's page (Levi's). For example, if she's getting bad comments, then I'm afraid that the companies she's collaborating with or sponsors her independent products will interpret this spam of negative comments that she's currently receiving as "bad for business." Hopefully she and her team can come up with a solution to try to keep the conspiracies from running rampant on all social media platforms, and I hope they do something soon before it gets to the point where they can't control it. -

Hmmm...I'm not sure if you're talking about me, Jag or Piers Morgan here 🤔...I'm didn't say that I believed any of Jay-Z and Beyonce's conspiracies,I'm just saying that I'm aware of them, especially those conspiracies about Jay and Aaliyah. Those conspiracies have been around since I was a little girl. But yes... We'll see how this situation goes. I'm really curious to see how this will all turn out because at the very least if Bey and Jay are innocent in this, then I expect them to at least sue Piers for giving Jag and Vlad a platform. -
Weird stuff is going on in the media these days. I think we all knew that hollyweird is and always was...well, WEIRD, but I never predicted the pop cultural times we're in at the moment. I'm a millennial and it's shocking to see the pop culture world that I once knew implode in front of my eyes. I thought people were desperate to tie Jay in the Diddy stuff at first, but since that press conference yesterday when they announced another high profiled person involved, it has my attention now. Ofc Jay-Z has admitted to being a gangsta in his music, but I genuinely think he has cleaned up his act over the years. I thimk he grew up from his industry peers and continued to make investment and investment in the right places and settled down with his family. I always saw some of the backlash he gets as a mixture of jealousy and bad blood, especially with Wayne, Nicki, and Dame, but since the press conference gave details on who this other person is, I'm not sure what to think now. (Edit: I think the media is doing a terrible job telling the public that more A listers are likely going to be implicated. I wish they would stop playing 'Who is it?' and ' Guess who?" Release the names or just stfu until you have all your i-s dotted and t-s crossed. To me it's completely irresponsible on the way they're going about this because it's not only is it unfair to the celebrities who had attended his parties that did not participate in the Freak-offs who are being accused, but I can only imagine how hard victims must feel at this time while anticipating the names of their abusers to be dropped. Also the lawyer didn't specify whether this other high profiled celebrity is a victim or a preparator, but only described this person in being on the tapes and trying to buy them off, so it's all a mess right now.) Very few of Diddy's peers are billionaires and Jay-Z seems to fall under the description they gave amongst a few other people, and they already revealed that it's not a politician 🤯...This is starting to get serious now ngl. (You see what they were trying to do in the second thumbnail or is it just me??? What is Law&Crime implying here?) And now they have Jaguar Wright, a former rising popstar and someone deemed as "a crazy person" on mainstream outlets like Piers Morgan??!! It seems like we're on the horizon of an era where conspiracy theorists are blowing up on social media almost like a postmortem period of the internet that we once knew from the last decade. Diddy and Jay were friends, so I understand where the Diddy theories regarding Jay and the Aaliyah ones are coming from (not to say they're true), but now Tiktok conspiracy theorists are now saying ridiculous thing like Beyonce killed Tupac and Left Eye 😆. Social media really needs to crackdown on the conspiracy content to prevent these rumors and unconfirmed details from spreading wildly. It's just a crazy and weird time we're living in that I never thought I would see with these celebrities that I grew up with. If Jay-Z really did something then he should be held accountable, but my fear is those that are building Diddy's case are possibly making calculative moves by trying to get through Beyonce to scare her into getting whatever they're suspicious about with Jay-Z. They're already spamming her IG, which is weird because she clearly doesn't run her social media accounts, her publicists does, but regardless I still think this whole forced "Jay-Z is next!!1" movement maybe more calculated than it leads on. They also know that her mother is active on social media and defends Bey on there these days, so I really don't know what's going to happen atp. This is all scary to me because Beyonce has always been my favorite popstar. I've been a fan of her and Destiny's Child as long as I can remember and grew up with their cultural impact, so it's hard to see her name growing bigger in this controversy each day. As someone who believe that she's a good person, I think if this is calculated then it's kind of unfair to Beyonce, however I don't know her personally at the end of the day. I'm not one to put past anything by anyone, and absolutely no one is above consequences imo so I think we all have to keep that in mind. I think I will always love Beyonce, just like I love MJ in his scandal in the early 00's, but idk...I'm hoping for the best, but preparing for the worst, because you never know, so we'll see how this goes because this stuff about her and her husband is starting to spread like wildfire... Edit: Words and other edits.

I'm shocked that there hasn't been on thread on this yet. I'm an anime only and the new episode was mind blowing but not necessarily surprising. I was never too big of an Eren fan to begin with. I always thought he was a cringey try hard. Not surprised that he now developed a some kind if savior complex or an anti-savior or something like that. I think the more you turn into a titan, the more you loose yourself, but then again Eren says he was always crazy.

Does anyone else play this game? I thought I wouldn't like it at first, but I've been playing for nearly 4 years now (I started in Chapter 1 Season 5) and I've been hooked ever since. The cosmetics to the whacky gameplay. I love it all. The cosmetics have disco, Kpop, anime, and pop culture references that are right up my alley.

Keanu is just a nice guy. He did this for the fans. When he read the script for the first time I'm pretty sure he knew that was gonna be bad.

It was okay. I think the trio nailed their roles. Besides that BURN IT! Burn the script, burn the so called comedy, burn the changes that were made with Julia and Vicious. Julia shooting Spike as Green Bird plays was a big middle fingers to fans of the anime. Just watch the anime or re-watch it.
