hardening guy is Urameshi Yusuke!! i'm looking forward to hearing him a lot more in this series!! also, watching this a second time (and with the phenomenal english voice acting) i'm actually starting to feel some empathy for Bakugo. I haven't gotten to the bottom of his character yet (i think the next episode i'll watch on crunchyroll will explore that, but i feel like i can get a real feel for what's driving his emotions regarding Midoriya. the feeling of being superior to someone close to him and then having that person oppose him while still acknowledging that superiority. and then the suspicion that that same person has been faking inferiority the whole time, mocking him on a level he couldn't grasp or understand. i mean, yeah, he's a dick who has shallow ambitions and enjoys picking on the weak, but still, there's clearly more there to him.

i didn't see it coming at all. on the one hand, i didn't really want to see this series, so i don't really want it on toonami but on the other hand, I did like Super Milk Chan, so maybe this won't be so bad

Future Trunks should have just stayed in this timeline. what was the point of kiling everyone off and wiping out his universe and grand zeno coming to our timeline if he wasn't just going to hang around as a permanent part of the dragon ball gang? and they're gonna just prevent all the badness from happening? doesn't that mean this whole thing never mattered? I just want future Trunks to stay with us forever!! I want more big trunks/little trunks hijinks. but him catching Vegeta's punch was super cool. uwu Future Trunks is so fucking cool! also Gohan giving one more lesson to his favorite student
