a quiet cabal of five shadowy figures. reminds me of the five elder stars from one piece

when bertolt and reiner came through the first time, they busted a hole in shiganshina and then continued ton to bust another hole in wall maria. their second attack broke open the gate in trost, but were unable to break wall rose. eren plugged the hole in trost's wall, but the hole in wall maria has never been repaired and ine that day, the area has been abandoned, as titans have been pouring in non stop. pretty sure the "outside the walls" area we've been dealing with all this time, is the area that is inside wall maria, an area that used to be entirely inhabitable, with loads of people and zero titans. if they can plug the hole in maria, they can stem the flow of titans into their territory and get to work exterminating all the titans that are there already, so that the space can be once again used for human life.
