i want to argue since its creator has a pedigree and soul eater was a smash hit and it having an anime (especially one with an unexpected controversy early on) will push it toward popularity. but then again, MHA is Shonen Jump. one just doesn't compete with shonen jump. that's the leg up it has on this, if anything.

also, there's a harater in the soul eater manga who's wearing the same armor mask as the captain is
