  1. Interfered? Get the hell out of here Deku got in the way more and got rewarded for it
  2. Huh? Pretty sure it was a joke just because they were suddenly hilariously so close together in frame lol
  3. Oh wow, yeah, I remember that show and those DVDs. Totally forgot it was that old.
  4. That Kanno goodness! Also both Billingslea and Blum in there
  5. Yeah the mode when they switch to their isolation modes locking out all external network connections to their cyberbrains has always been called that. https://ghostintheshell.fandom.com/wiki/Cyberbrain
  6. Yeah, so hyped they're back, I'm trying to wait. To go with the screencap of the cast list someone posted, the trailer itself also partially corroborates things by confirming both McGlynn and Knight are back for starters, since their voices can be heard in the dub trailer even though dub isn't out yet.
  7. I'm curious about this too. Side note: Not that Amazon's info section is reliable, but it does actually list the old DVD set as being widescreen since it has aspect ratio as 1.78:1 Still been looking for something even more definitive, but I think it's possible that it might have been one of the earlier shows created in widescreen going by these two old Paranoia Agent DVD reviews I just found: Here's one review for the volume 1 DVD posted back in 2004 that said the disc was in anamorphic widescreen: https://www.dvdtalk.com/reviews/13010/paranoia-agent-vol-1/ "16:9 anamorphic widescreen presentation. Hope you got a big TV, because this is a great looking DVD. Some minor grain at one point that didn't look like it belonged, but there are several instances when it's used purposefully. The animation and colors rarely venture outside of the real world. The blacks are full and night is scary. The colors are rich and vibrant, and there's hardly anything over the top in terms of color usage....at least nothing that wasn't meant to be funky." And this one mentioned it too and seems to be a review of the UK release of volume 1 posted in 2006: http://www.cineoutsider.com/reviews/dvd/p/paranoia_agent.html "Anamorphic 16:9, the picture is clean, with good contrast and colour reproduction, and there's not a lot more you can ask of an anime transfer. There are signs of an NTSC to PAL conversion, but it's a good one – there is little evidence of unintentional blurring on movement." Interestingly also, like the one I found last weekend, old youtube posts of the OP and ED that I've found so far also seem to have them in 16:9 too despite being posted in like 2005 and 2006. I also remember that one of my old favorite studios back when they were in their prime, Studio Gonzo, back when they were cutting edge, were already experimenting with moving to widescreen (some of their shows at this time were 4:3 and others were 16:9) at this point for some of their shows, like they did for their big 2003 show Last Exile (actually also released by Geneon/Pioneer like Paranoia Agent now that I realize it).
  8. It's available on Funimation Now. And when they posted that they got it they also said it will be getting a blu-ray in the near future. Yeah, probably the best we're going to see it.
  9. Cool, good to see they've got the next ep ready to go. Last night's sounded fine.
