  1. I just hope the blurays do the show justice. The original FMA series looks gorgeous on bluray, as does Code Geass. Death Note on bluray, meanwhile, is a great disappointment.
  2. Holy shit, GITS must be popular. The site usually isn't this slow outside of the DBZ shows. It took me 5 minutes just get back to the site. Batou. I always liked him. Togasa, too. And the Tachicomas. Not too much this episode, but they quickly become the favorites. Can't wait for their first themed episode.
  3. So, did the series originally have widescreen? I don't think it did. If it didn't, the only reason it could, would be if it simply zoomed in enough to make it widescreen. If that's the case, I'd rather maintain aspect ratio but keep the HD treatment, instead of zooming in and losing some of the visual. It's what FXX is doing with it's airings of The Simpsons (zooming in).
  4. Mmmmmm.... The Major. I always liked strong women.
  5. Angels and Demons. It's been too long, old friend.
  6. I just remembered this was happening. Drunken memory FTW! Also, I remember buying the series on bluray. Double FTW!

And in response to the Paper Mario theme for the board, here's some of my favorites from the original game.

  9. It figures. The only thing those with power fear... is losing that power. A greater concern, and the whole reason for wanting some power, is WHAT THE HELL WILL YOU DO ABOUT TROLLS?!?!?!?!?!?!? Obviously, it's a heated political climate, and I respect the right to the 1st amendment. But when a certain user trolls another user across the entirety of the boards and all threads there-within to the point where the victim will quit the board due to the hatred, at what point do you guys (and Luuv) step up and do your fucking job?! I don't understand why you all would want a dedicated member of the boards to permanently leave and a confirmed troll to stay. The entire reason I fought for this was not for my own well-being. I don't care what people say about me. It bounces off me like rubber. I know I'm better off than them. I'm fighting for those who do need help. But with no weapons, there's very little I can do. And since no help seemed to be coming from the higher-ups, I felt this might help.
  10. The father speaks! Now I'm interested.
  11. I was floored when I realized that the old superhero was Bryan Cranston. Heisenberg himself is working on that show. No idea what to make of that.
  12. Wow. And I'm sure there actually is corn porn. There's porn for almost everything else after all.
  13. Praying? I utterly refuse to do such useless bullshit and tend to actively make a scene when such a situation occurs.
  14. I guess this gonna be down episode. I guess it makes sense after the intense Hisoka battle. But instead of visiting home, when is the gang getting back together?
  15. Seriously? I kept wondering about you and how you were doing. And there was more than a few topics questioning if you were okay.
  16. Well, see you all for Hunter X Hunter. I decided last week to not bother posting for this as I don't care for it and all my posts were negative. Still going to have it on TV, but won't be paying too much attention. Going to be playing some Mega Man 4.
  17. Nice. I like how they're doing different sections of that long song.
  18. Great, I guess next week is gonna be a boring training episode. If not the week after. One question though (and spoilers okay), the Pillar Men kept saying that Jojo and the others were human, alluding to them not being human. If they are not human, what are they? Aliens? Gods?
  19. They're German soldiers during WW2. There were not non-Nazi German soldiers during that war.
  20. Divine Sandstorm? I know of Darude's Sandstorm.
  21. Well, half of America doesn't like it. But on a semi-related topic, did you hear that the U.S. got made an official danger to the E.U.? On par with Russia and ISIS. So who knows what shows will say about today's America in 70 years.
