actually the food poisoning was canon (it was in classic naruto, he had asked Sakura on a date but had food poisoning and kept having to run to the bathroom thus ruining their date) but Naruto naturally being a human bag of tear gas was filler

the funny thing is the tear gas farts were a filler thing they're based on a SINGLE SCENE where Naruto farted during a fight with Kiba, and because Kiba was using a Jutsu that made his sense of Smell hyper Powerful he couldn't stand the smell but the filler behaves as if naruto just naturally farts plumes of tear gas

considering Yuri on Ice was allowed to exist I'm hoping someday a Naruto rip-off gets created someday where the story is better written and the sasuke and naruto rip-off characters end up actually being Gay,

at this point I'd air on a side of Hundreds

if only Naruto and Sasuke were gay, the whole series would make sense if they were their turmoil. their love for eachother, their struggles would have all made sense if the story had been a metaphor for them coming to terms with their sexuality
