I think Midoriya and Ochako are likeable to me because Ochako has personality outside of being Midoriya's love interest and he ACTUALLY SHOWS AN INTEREST IN HER unlike Most shonen Manga protagonists who are so oblivious to their female love interests and obsessed with their male rivals that it makes them seem gay thus making the hetero option seem forced

Ochako might be the one Shonen anime love interest that doesn't bother me

most fans think he's disgusting and annoying

technically this wasn't rendered non-canon by Super, and Heroes is establishing that every possible timeline is canon by confirming that all the alternate timelines are still existant and by visiting them
