  1. This episode premiered on Toonami on 9/9/17. This is not one of the ones that my DVR missed. BTW I like Babidi. He's a dick but he's funny!
  2. I LIKE DBZ, so I think I'll watch until I pass out. Yes, that means alcohol will be involved! But it also means I've been up since 7:30 AM so I seriously doubt I'll make it to the end!
  3. It would be really cool if in 16 weeks they call back to this by doing a mini-TIE that says "Oh, BTW, let's just avoid that nebula over there!!"
  4. I think they had to cut that down slightly to make it fit. OH COOL! FULL OP!!!
  5. I'll probably watch the whole thing just because I'm pretty much too broke to do anything else!
  6. 11.25.2017 11 PM: Coundown Final Episode (#4) ~11:07 PM: DBZ Kai Final Chapters Marathon. Kinda like this, only 58 times longer: [Only Toonami]
  7. This was a great episode if you like video games. I thought it was OK. First time I've watched it "live" in a while. Oh, and his name is "Gill".
  8. They had a streaming presence back in late 2015/early 2016 when they would stream a whole 2-cour season of a series in a work-week. Now they stream the same 5 episodes ALL WORK-WEEK. Their only true streaming presence is on the weekend when they rehash the on-air Toonami block from 4 weeks ago.
  9. "Happy Thanksgiving!! Say, has anyone seen Oolong??"
  10. And your point is what, exactly? The same is true of Black Clover!
  11. Do we really know for a fact that Yamato/Star Blazers 2199 isn't coming? It would actually make a GREAT replacement for Lupin! It, too, is an older show (from 2012) that appears to be just now getting its dub. Lupin was out of left field, and Star Blazers 2199 would be quite the same!
  12. No. It's actually been lower in total viewers both at 11:30 (7/22, 804K) and 11 PM (7/29, 801K). Believe it or not, Black Clover will be the first time something other than Dragon Ball franchise has aired at 11:30 regularly since Attack on Titan reruns bombed in that timeslot in early 2015, and also the first time anything other than Dragon Ball shows, Attack on Titan, or Samurai Jack has aired in that timeslot since One-Punch Man's marathon kicked off in that timeslot on 9/3/2016. Good luck of the 5-leaf clover, Asta!

  14. This feels, in a lot of ways, like the last true Ratings Report of an era. http://www.showbuzzdaily.com/articles/showbuzzdailys-top-150-saturday-cable-originals-network-finals-11-18-2017.html 11/18/2017 Dragon Ball Super (8:30) #12 (-3) Adults 18-34 Rating - 0.48 Estimated 18-34 - 326,000 ( 36.30% ) Adults 18-49 Rating - 0.38 Estimated 18-49 - 487,000 ( 54.23% ) Total Viewers - 898,000 11/18/2017 DBZ Kai: Final Chapters #14 (-3) Adults 18-34 Rating - 0.45 Estimated 18-34 - 306,000 ( 40.96% ) Adults 18-49 Rating - 0.34 Estimated 18-49 - 436,000 ( 58.37% ) Total Viewers - 747,000 11/18/2017 JJBA: Stardust Crusaders - #18 (+4) Adults 18-34 Rating - 0.41 Estimated 18-34 - 279,000 ( 43.39% ) Adults 18-49 Rating - 0.30 Estimated 18-49 - 385,000 ( 59.88% ) Total Viewers - 643,000 11/18/2017 Gundam IBO - #21 (-1) Adults 18-34 Rating - 0.36 Estimated 18-34 - 245,000 ( 41.95% ) Adults 18-49 Rating - 0.28 Estimated 18-49 - 359,000 ( 61.47% ) Total Viewers - 584,000 11/18/2017 Lupin the 3rd - #27 (+5) Adults 18-34 Rating - 0.34 Estimated 18-34 - 231,000 ( 46.95% ) Adults 18-49 Rating - 0.25 Estimated 18-49 - 321,000 ( 65.24% ) Total Viewers - 492,000
  15. Hopefully we'll get at least a 15-17-minute version of it on this run of Toonami, perhaps padded by a 6-8-minute music video!
  16. That scene where Faye and Ed were conversing and Ed tells Faye "useless, futile!" should have been used for the bump, with the voices garbled or slowed way down. It would have been perfect!
