There are actually 2 important pieces of ground Toonami broke in 2020: Adult-Oriented DC animated movies (Batman double features in August, Wonder Woman/Justice League in December) Marathons of shows not currently airing on the regular lineup (DBZ Kai, The Promised Neverland, PRIMAL, Cowboy Bebop)

I wouldn't mind seeing an all-night Toonami takeover on occasion where it airs hyped-up DC movies before midnight, then the regular lineup at midnight. That would be the best of both worlds!
