I mean, I smoke cigarettes every day, and I drank heavily for a full decade. So I understand the idea of loving something that's bad for you.

But the weird thing is that exercise takes a LOT of effort to do. Like, if smoking actually caused me to sweat and be out of breath, and my joints to hurt, I would not still be doing it. So on that level, I don't understand people going SO far out of their way to put their health at risk.

Not that I'm harshly judging them or anything. I'm just saying I don't get it personally.

No pain, no gain.  Also if it's hurting your joints you're doing it wrong...

If you're doing it at all, you're doing it wrong!  :P

I'm partially being facetious, of course... But only partially. I don't begrudge people who exercise, but every time I hear about someone dropping dead of a heart attack while jogging, I'm just like, "See that?" I truly don't understand it.  ::HMM::

This is why you start with light weight or short distances, and don't go for a jog immediately after downing five Monsters.

Actually, you shouldn't be downing that much energy drink at once anyway, but especially don't jog after doing it.

Yeah fuck exercise. I sit on the couch and eat a wide assortment of junk food and play video games. Thats my workout- walking to the kitchen cupboard to get more twinkies.
