Rick and Morty Season 9 set to premiere May 28

So they are just moving the yearly premier window to late May then? I figured they would let it get back on track with the old fall release. 
 

The real surprise here is they are making this announcement now. Normally, this is a reveal that would be saved for after an unfunny, 30 minute long R&M themed April Fools prank. Are they finally letting something else do April Fools? Is a certain group of companions that values the happiness of others going to reveal they aren’t as dead as they had us believe?

Right on time for the summer blockbuster season, too. Perfect in time for the President Curtis spinoff.

God, I wish this was the case. But I can still respect the creators' wishes if this really is the end.
