OnTheAirOrtiz Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago (edited) So for those that missed it, Tubi just announced they're getting a massive influx of Cartoon Network & WB Original cartoons starting March 1st. There are a lot...AND I MEAN A LOT of CN Originals headed to the platform. That got me thinking, could [as]' streaming rights be up for grabs? Could we see Tubi or a different streaming service pick up the rights to shows like Space Ghost, Aqua Teen, Boondocks, etc.? LET THE SPECULATION BEGIN! Edited 7 hours ago by OnTheAirOrtiz 1 Quote
[classic swim] Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago Found out a minute ago they made an official youtube for ATHF last month... but only the pilot is in full, the other uploads are just nuggs from the earlier seasons. They could make decent revenue from that if they want to stop whoring for streaming hubs that dump them eventually. 1 Quote

Pulling a WWE where they split all the content across multiple YouTube channels and people can just subscribe to them like any other YouTube channel. WWE has like WWE Vault, WCW Vault, ECW Vault, etc. [as] could have ATHF as its own channel, Boondocks as its own channel, Metalocalypse as its own channel, etc. Could be the best route... 1 Quote
Jman Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago If the goal is maximum profit from the library, damn exclusivity, sending the library to Tubi is probably the best case scenario. After all, you can’t argue with free. 1 Quote

Especially since there's already an example with WWE. Quote

YouTube would be just the ad revenue. 1 Quote
Mr. Idea Box Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Even if Adult Swim isn't up for grabs, that lineup is inconceivable! The Abbott and Costello cartoons? Dragon's Lair? Paddington Bear? Pinky, Elmyra, and the Brain? The Supernatural anime? The New Adventures of Gilligan? The Tom and Jerry Comedy Show? The 2017 Wacky Races reboot? QUICK DRAW MCGRAW?! Holy shit. 1 Quote
