I know, y'al, the title is horrible. I dismissed it because A) I’m not frequently into Netflix produced stuff (I’m pretentious), B) it’s ostensibly a children’s movie and the misses outpace the hits, and C) pretty horrible title. THAT ALL BEING SAID…

 

This movie kicks ass. Sony animation has been killing it lately, and this is no exception to their recent success. The soundtrack is so catchy too. I’ve never been interested in K-pop, but this soundtrack slaps. It even gets terrible pop boy band music so right. It’s visually stunning. I highly recommend it.

Saw it on a random weeknight.  Enjoyed it quite a bit.

Hasbro is kicking themselves in the teeth for not thinking of it first.  This is how they should have modernized Jem and the Holograms if they wanted them in the same universe as Transformers and G.I. Joe.
