It started thunder storming at like 4 in the morning last night..

So I got no sleep. 

I am taking my lunch break now trying not to fall asleep. 

Might as well call it a day and just take a half day!

I went to bed around 10:30 (earliest in years), and slept until 10 this morning. I did wake up at 4 and had a hard time falling back asleep.

Haha I work from home like 80% of the time so I am already here!

I woke up around 1:30 last night and fell back asleep around 3. Then it started storming around 4-5 in the morning and woke me up again and I was basically awake until I had to actually start getting up for work. 

I will probably try and just stay awake until bedtime, so as not to further fuck up my sleep cycle! 

It was a random ass thunderstorm because NWS did not even have it in the forecast until it had already started thundering and lightning!

Yeah, if I were to take a nap right now (which I totally could), it would completely fuck up my chances of sleeping tonight.

Thunderstorms are the best time to sleep. We got some rain here this morning, but I never knew it until I went outside this morning. I think it’s supposed to rain almost all day here today.

See, I studied a bit of meteorology when I was a geography undergrad and I am just obsessed with the weather. So if it starts storming I get all excited no matter the time haha I had no chance of sleeping last night! 

But yea, it is gonna be warm here today, but rainy as well

Well, color me jealous. Meteorology has always been fairly interesting to me, even though I know very little about it.
