Trigun was always an [as] show, and Big O was an [as] show for the second half; to say they were Toonami shows is in the case of the former incorrect, and for the latter a half-truth. 2. Toonami was always meant as an action block for both Japanese and American cartoons. It just so happened that anime was so commonplace it might as well have been its main draw. 3. Bleach's broadcast on Toonami's April Fools' block did not have Asterisk as the OP; it was Anima Rossa, a good song for a mediocre arc (that's decent by my standards because reasons). 4.
