Mostly because of my natural curiosity towards spoilers and the Eugenecist Hiashi memes. The reveal of how Shikamaru and Ino's dads (and to a lesser extent the Raikage's secretary) died despite being hundreds of miles away, on the other hand, was a true shock to the system.
