Real_AirCooledGirl Posted July 24, 2021 Posted July 24, 2021 If so, show me your birds. I posted this in the selfie thread but since I'm bringing it up, here's me and my feather-baby, Ricky. He's a blue-fronted amazon. Had him for 12 years now. 2
Virtual Satyr Posted July 24, 2021 Posted July 24, 2021 I don't have any pet birds, but I do have a bird feeder outside the window by my desk. A lovely cardinal couple love to visit it. I've named them Cardi-O and Cardi-B. 1
katt_goddess Posted July 24, 2021 Posted July 24, 2021 Pic taken earlier this year of Yoda Bird I don't have a pic of Ghost-out-of-the-Shell though because he wasn't hand raised like Yoda was and doesn't do holding at all. He'll finger perch on his on time which is rare and not at all long enough to webcam. I've had Yoda since he was an egg. He doesn't really do 'finger perch' because he hatched with splayed leg and despite having that partially fixed, his legs aren't perfect enough for finger time. He likes farting around on the ropes instead. 2
NotStarfyre Posted July 26, 2021 Posted July 26, 2021 Nah I mean don't get me wrong they're cute and all but I can't imagine having something live inside your house that just squawks and screeches all day long. That sounds like it would be hellish. 1

That sounds like it would be hellish. My birb is only noisy half the time. The rest of the time, he's pretty quiet. Whenever I have teletherapy with my gender therapist, Ricky sits on my shoulder and he's always quiet. Maybe it's because my therapist has a soothing voice. When binge-watching Star Trek, he's quiet, too.
