Dead skunk under my porch

The smell is bad but the flies are what's really bothering me, I want to just leave it but I'm worried about the effect this nast might be having on the little woodpecker couple who have built a fine nest in the meat drawer of the old refrigerator that's on the porch directly above where the skunk lies.
