Guest poof
Which means change. There was a decrepit 2 story house in a dark place, but inside it was one big chamber all made of rotten wood. I walked in there was no one there. Then a ghoulish girl in gray w/long hair, her skin all rotten like the house. Her face was too horrific to look at. She pinned me to the floor and I was completely terrified. She felt like death, disgust, maggot flesh, etc. Then I felt really angry. Sometimes in nightmares I remember that I go through them a lot and I get so furious. I started looking at her and screaming right in her gross face. The more I screamed the less powerful she was until she physically began to shrink. I punched the walls of the chamber and screamed and raged around until she disappeared completely. I felt like I had won. Sometimes I win in the nightmares so this is a familiar feeling too. I left the house to go home down a road that began to gradually turn into a swamp, another recurring element in my dreams. The land around the path rose until there was no path. Just steep walls of dirt w/swamp water at the bottom in between. Then I noticed the crocodiles. Alligators and crocodiles come after me a lot in dreams, but it's very unusual for crocodiles and deathly ghoul things to be in the same dream. I avoided them best I could while progressing. The water got deeper, the path more narrow. It was now impossible to avoid the gatordiles. I grabbed at dry roots protruding from the walls of dirt and started to climb out. Once I climbed up, I could see that it was forested at the top. No swamps. Just a sunny forest. I saw a lion in the sunlight, it saw me, I felt no fear about it, and I woke up. I've never seen a lion in a dream or nightmare. So I really committed this one to memory.
Skinko
Sounds like you subconsciously (or even consciously) want things to change, but something is holding you back. Not sure whether it's something you're doing, or some outside factor, because I don't know your life. But that's generally what that means, I think. The lion at the end could mean that deep down, you know you have the power to make those changes. Like your mind is reassuring you that even though you might be weary of change, you can do it. lupin_bebop
I could give you my interpretation of this whole thing, going into Jungian archetypes, analyzation of meanings and what your brain is telling you. I could go into what changes in your personality it could breed, and that you shouldn't take too much stock into what is basically as massive, albeit temporary chemically-indueced hallucination. I could, but I will just say that it sounds like you had a pretty vivd dream and it sounded cool. I hope you adopt a pet lion and get all Gladiator with it on people. mochi
I've been keeping dream diaries for years, the most recent dream I can remember I was being chased by a squirell then I escaped from it, then it regressed into a baby squirrel and I picked it up and fed it
