Its entirely hypothetical but I kind of figure they are less likely to burn a full 5 hours of premieres on holiday weekends than say 3-4 but then again they had lots of marathons in 2015.

I just had a thought. What if they plan ahead like 11 weeks in advance to make sure enough episodes of a show are ready for a holiday marathon?? That would mean any odd one-week schedule change around September would make total sense!

I am warming up the show and some of the characters as it has been on.  Who knows, maybe it is even an intentional light intermission between the heavier stuff around it, on DeMarco's part.
