Dragon Quest 11 Demo is now available on the switch(it's 10 hours long!!)

any progress you make can be transferred over to the full game...regardless that's one hell of a beefy demo  so had to mention it

I'm tempted to buy it but I need to see if there's enough new stuff in it to warrant another $60.

There is some free dlc on the eshop as well, which I'm guessing you can use with the demo or why would it be available to download a month before release?

I'd probably feel the same way if I spent $60 on the game and played through it already. I only spent $25 and played about 20 hours and sold it for my money back when Switch version was revealed. Orchestrated music and classic mode was enough for me to stop my playthrough and just wait.

it's just a shame it looks a bit blurry(not so much that it's a huge issue but enough that character models and faces can look a bit off)in handheld mode

You can tell they're using lower polygon character models than the PS4 and PC versions.

I picked it up, but won't get into until next month. I played it just enough to check out the 2D mode.

i started off where i left the demo...that way i don't have to go through the introduction sequence once more
