I get you cant stay at that level.... but idk.. it was meh. Peter's character developed though, which was nice to see. Jake Gyllenhaal still sucks dick like brokeback asspoundage. panic Posted July 9, 2019 Share Posted July 9, 2019 It WAS terrible. Spoiler They've demonstrated facial recognition technology in previous films, yet no one thinks to run it on Mysterio? Just blindly accept everything Jake tells them. Where's the usually suspicious Fury? Why is Spider-Man so naive to the point of absurdity? Also when he's exposed toward the end, he just carries on with trying to kill Spider-Man and getting the hologram working again. Why? Hoping none of the thousands of people fleeing saw its all fake? Really? I still don't understand the plan. Was he intending to pass himself off as a fake superhero forever? It made no fucking sense. The only amazing thing about Spider-Man was how dedicated Mysterio's special effects team was. Someone had to have been out in the water making bubbles and making the boats rock and making buildings topple because holograms sure as fuck don't work that way.
