I mean, we all know the Lakers' front office is a dumpster fire.  But, Magic had a chance to be above it instead of wallowing in it.

At this point it's a crap show everyone looks bad, as a Lakers fan I dont care about this drama. We werent gonna be good even with lebron. We had to build around him with what we had and then add a superstar after. But since its LA we have to go to the playoffs any way possible and it just stirred up so many problems that are now coming into light smh

I mean, it doesn't stop me from being a Lakers fan, but I knew well enough when they started pushing for LeBron to come that this was going to be the end result.  Magic was incompetent to say the least, but even a competent president isn't likely to meet the unrealistic expectations everyone has.  It makes Jerry's aura all the more impressive considering the way he was able to hide rebuilding years behind playoff eligible seasons.  Now, even with AD in the fold, you can't say with any confidence that we have a championship caliber team.
